This is a half hour video. It’s good, you should watch it. I cried. If you don’t a half hour to spare, I can sum it up for you in a few seconds.
There is a really bad man in Uganda named Joseph Kony who is abducting children to be in his army. He takes little kids, arms them, forces them to kill their parents and mutilate other children. Our government has given some assistance to the forces trying to arrest this man, but they have to know Americans want to help. The purpose of this video and the people behind it is to raise awareness of this man’s existence, so our government has a reason to continue to assist the people trying to take him out of power.
Unless you like the idea of children being tortured, go sign the pledge to show your support. There are also links to big celebrity and politician’s emails, if you feel like helping raise awareness. If you are a really awesome person, you can make a modest donation to help the cause. I signed up to donate $10 a month for the rest of 2012.
